Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking Experienced Emergency Veterinary Nurse/Techs

This is an overnight emergency position.

Our ideal candidates are:

● Detailed oriented, have advanced Emergency Nursing Skills and experience, LVT or CVT, preferred.

● Are able to monitor and care for patients using state of the art equipment and protocols.

● Have advanced nursing skills to include anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, phlebotomy, central line placement.

● Have knowledge of anesthetic protocols used in emergency surgical procedures

● Have knowledge of running in house lab machines

● Have knowledge of taking radiographs

● Have knowledge of triage

● Have a sound knowledge of emergency procedures and processes.

● Outstanding communication skills with the ability to provide advanced nursing care for our board-certified specialists and our patients.

● Candidates will work with other experienced technicians, assistants and a dedicated support staff, all committed to excellent patient care.

● Knowledge and experience with CT scans are a plus

● Knowledge of EzyVet, SmartFlow and the Cubex systems are helpful

● We will consider all candidates with advanced nursing skills and experience in emergency medicine.

Ideal Candidate

  • Certification or Associate’s Degree in a related field is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in the veterinary field
  • Strong & professional work ethic
