Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing urgent care and monitoring critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients
  • Perform triage, administer medications, and monitor vitals with attention to detail
  • Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and critical procedures
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about patient status
  • Maintain a sterile, organized treatment area and ICU
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly to ensure seamless team communication

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, ideally in emergency or critical care, required
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred
  • Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine preferred
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary medical protocols and procedures
  • Proficient in the administration and monitoring of anesthesia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
