Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing urgent care and monitoring critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients
- Perform triage, administer medications, and monitor vitals with attention to detail
- Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and critical procedures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about patient status
- Maintain a sterile, organized treatment area and ICU
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly to ensure seamless team communication

Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, ideally in emergency or critical care, required
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred
- Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical protocols and procedures
- Proficient in the administration and monitoring of anesthesia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
