About the Position

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our family-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals in Florida and South Carolina. As a CFO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our company, enabling us to continue providing advanced and specialized veterinary services to our clients and referring veterinarians.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to achieve the company's growth objectives
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the executive team on financial matters and decision-making
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, billing, and payroll
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate with insurance providers, vendors, and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and contracts
  • Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Proven experience as a CFO or similar role in a healthcare or veterinary organization
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive organizational growth
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to transparency and accountability in financial operations
